Are you tired of worrying, overthinking, and carrying pressure that no one else seems to notice?
Do you love Jesus… but still feel anxious all the time?
Are friendship drama, comparison, and internal pressure stealing your peace?
If your mind feels loud and you just want life to feel more at ease — you’re not being dramatic, and you’re not alone.
I am so excited you’re here because this podcast will help you worry less, quiet the mental noise, and experience real peace in your everyday life.
Inside each episode, you’ll learn faith-based tools to help with anxiety, overthinking, social pressure, insecurity, and friendship drama — without the “just pray more and try harder” advice.
You’ll learn how to:
• Feel more steady and less overwhelmed
• Stop caring so much about what everyone thinks
• Untangle your identity from performance
• Grow a faith that feels supportive instead of stressful
This is about real-life peace — not perfection.
I’m Kristen — your big sis in faith and Teen Anxiety Coach. When I was a teen, I struggled with anxiety and insecurity. I overthought everything — what I wore, what I said, how I performed in the classroom and on the court. I tied my worth to achievement, approval, and appearance. From the outside, I looked fine. Inside? I was exhausted.
For years, I tried to “fix” myself by working harder, achieving more, and trying to be the good Christian girl who had it all together.
So, what changed?
I finally realized peace wasn’t about becoming a different girl. It was about learning practical emotional skills and anchoring them in my identity in Christ.
That shift changed everything.
Now, I help girls just like you stop living in their heads and start living from a place of steadiness and truth.
If you’re ready to:
• Stop overthinking every interaction
• Worry less about what people think
• Navigate friendships without losing yourself
• Manage anxiety in real-life situations
• Build confidence rooted in Christ — not performance
This podcast is for you.
So grab your coziest hoodie, your favorite loaded tea, and let’s talk about what it actually looks like to live as a peaceful, steady Christian teen girl in today’s world.
xo,
Kristen

Is what you're feeling actually social anxiety — or just normal nervousness? Because there's a real difference, and in this first episode of the Social Anxiety Series, we're cutting through the buzzword fog so you actually know what you're dealing with.Social anxiety is one of the most overused phrases right now, and that's a problem. When everything gets called social anxiety, the girls who are genuinely struggling either get dismissed — or convince themselves it's no big deal because "everyone feels this way." Both are harmful. This episode changes that. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
What social anxiety disorder actually is (and what it isn't)
The real difference between normal nervousness and social anxiety
Why the buzzword culture around social anxiety is making things worse for teen girls
What the Bible says about the fear of man — and why it hits different than you'd expect
The "Real or Likely?" Check — a simple, science-backed tool to stop the fear spiral in its tracks
If the fear is running your decisions, this episode is for you.xo, Kristen🎧 Be sure to follow or subscribe so you don't miss anything!LET'S CONNECT!

If you're finishing 8th grade or wrapping up your senior year, you already know — something feels off. Not wrong, exactly. Just… unsettled. Like the ground is shifting under your feet and you can't quite get your footing. That feeling has a name: fear of the unknown. And in this episode, we're talking about why you feel it, why it doesn't mean your faith is broken, and the one simple practice that can interrupt the spiral when anxiety about the future starts taking over. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why fear of the unknown is neurologically normal — not a faith failure
What Scripture actually says about not being able to see what's ahead
Why your parents are scared too (and what to do with that)
Why faith and fear can — and do — coexist
The "Next Right Step" practice for when anxiety starts to spiral
You don't have to have the next five years figured out. You just have to take the next faithful step.xo,Kristen

If graduation 🎓 is coming and you feel more anxious than excited — this episode is for you. We're talking about the real reason graduation triggers anxiety in teen girls: it's not about lacking faith or being ungrateful. It's about your brain losing the familiar structure it's depended on for over a decade — and not knowing what comes next.In this episode, we cover why fear of the unknown is a normal nervous system response, how performance-based identity makes transitions even harder, and how one simple tool — the brain dump — can help you get out of your head and back into peace. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why graduation anxiety is a nervous system response, not a faith failure
The fear underneath the fear (it's not really about graduation)
How losing familiar structure triggers anxiety, even when you have a plan
How performance-based identity makes transitions harder
Step-by-step instructions for a brain dump
How to use a brain dump as a form of prayer
You don't have to have it all figured out to find peace. Peace is something you practice in the unknown — not after it.

What insecurity really is — and why it's not a faith failure
How anxiety and insecurity team up to keep you stuck in an overthinking loop
Why the finish line of "good enough" doesn't exist — and what to chase instead
What 2 Timothy 1:7 actually means for your confidence
One simple practice to interrupt the spiral when it starts
You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.xo,Kristen

Ya girl made a call in April, and it didn't land. So today, I'm doing what I tell teen girls to do all the time — owning it, course-correcting, and moving forward without shame. Here's the truth: I looked at some data back in March and assumed moms were my primary audience. I pivoted the show toward them. Turns out? The majority of you listening are teen girls — and you let me know. I heard you, baby sis. And I'm coming back to you.In this episode, I share what happened, why it matters, and why owning your mistakes without falling apart is one of the most powerful things you can do.What You'll Hear in This Episode:
The assumption I made — and why it was wrong
What the real data (aka you) told me
A genuine apology, no fluff attached
Why course-correcting without shame is a skill worth building
What this show is really about — and who it's really for
If you've ever felt like you don't have a safe adult in your corner, this episode is for you. That's exactly why this show exists.

If you've ever watched your daughter pull away and wondered whether to push, back off, or just wait — this one's for you.In this episode, we're talking about what's actually happening when your stressed teen girl withdraws. Not the behavior you see on the surface, but what's driving it — and why your response matters more than you might realize. We'll break down the anxiety-avoidance loop, what emotional withdrawal actually feels like from Emma's side of the door, and the one tactical shift that can change the dynamic without forcing or enabling. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why avoidance isn't defiance — it's your daughter's brain doing exactly what it was designed to do
The difference between behavioral avoidance and emotional withdrawal (and why both matter)
Why pushing harder usually backfires — and why doing nothing does too
The "stay curious, not corrective" approach and how to use it in real moments
What Emma needs to hear from you before she'll ever open up
Your daughter's withdrawal is not about you. It's about a nervous system trying to protect her from something that feels bigger than she knows how to handle right now.xo, Kristen

The doctor said everything was fine. But she's still waking up with stomachaches on school days, still getting headaches before anything high-stakes — and you're starting to wonder what you're missing. You're not missing it. Her body is actually telling you the truth. In this episode, we're talking about the connection between anxiety and physical symptoms in teen girls — why it's real, what it looks like, and what you can do about it.What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why anxiety symptoms often show up in the body before they ever show up in words
The most common physical signs of anxiety in teen girls — and why they're not manipulation
The patterns to watch for (hint: it's not that she has symptoms, it's when)
Why "the doctor said you're fine" can actually make anxiety worse
One simple, practical phrase to try the next time her body is saying what her words can't
Your daughter is not being dramatic. She is not trying to get out of something. Her body is doing exactly what a nervous system under pressure is designed to do — and now you'll know what to do with that.

Why answering her questions may be making the loop worse

If you've ever watched your daughter worry, complain of stomachaches, or slowly pull away from things she used to love — this episode is for you.In this kickoff episode of a new series, I'm breaking down three signs that teen girls commonly show when anxiety is at work beneath the surface. These aren't dramatic or obvious — they're the quiet, everyday patterns that are easy to miss or misread. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
What persistent worry actually looks like in a teen girl (and how it's different from normal stress)
Why physical complaints like stomachaches and headaches are often anxiety in disguise
The difference between avoidance and withdrawal — and why both matter
Why each of these signs deserves a closer look
This is your foundation episode. Over the next three episodes, we're going deep on each sign — what causes it, what it feels like for your daughter, and what you can do.xo, Kristen
