Do you feel like your brain never shuts off?
Do you replay conversations for hours and stress about what people think of you?
Are you tired of worrying, overthinking, and carrying pressure that no one else seems to notice?
Do you love Jesus… but still feel anxious all the time?
Are friendship drama, comparison, and internal pressure stealing your peace?

If your mind feels loud and you just want life to feel more at ease — you’re not being dramatic, and you’re not alone.

I am so excited you’re here because this podcast will help you worry less, quiet the mental noise, and experience real peace in your everyday life.

Inside each episode, you’ll learn faith-based tools to help with anxiety, overthinking, social pressure, insecurity, and friendship drama — without the “just pray more and try harder” advice.

You’ll learn how to:
• Feel more steady and less overwhelmed
• Stop caring so much about what everyone thinks
• Untangle your identity from performance
• Grow a faith that feels supportive instead of stressful

This is about real-life peace — not perfection.

I’m Kristen — your big sis in faith and Teen Anxiety Coach. When I was a teen, I struggled with anxiety and insecurity. I overthought everything — what I wore, what I said, how I performed in the classroom and on the court. I tied my worth to achievement, approval, and appearance. From the outside, I looked fine. Inside? I was exhausted.

For years, I tried to “fix” myself by working harder, achieving more, and trying to be the good Christian girl who had it all together.

So, what changed?

I finally realized peace wasn’t about becoming a different girl. It was about learning practical emotional skills and anchoring them in my identity in Christ.

That shift changed everything.

Now, I help girls just like you stop living in their heads and start living from a place of steadiness and truth.

If you’re ready to:
• Stop overthinking every interaction
• Worry less about what people think
• Navigate friendships without losing yourself
• Manage anxiety in real-life situations
• Build confidence rooted in Christ — not performance

This podcast is for you.

So grab your coziest hoodie, your favorite loaded tea, and let’s talk about what it actually looks like to live as a peaceful, steady Christian teen girl in today’s world.

xo,
Kristen

Three specific things to do before the first day of school

You open the group chat and you just know — before anyone says a word — that something's changed. No fight, no explanation. Just quiet, and a lunch table that suddenly feels different. In this episode, we're naming that specific gut-punch of being frozen out by your friend group — and walking through exactly what to do with it, so you can find real peace that isn't hanging on whether you got invited this weekend. What You'll Learn in This Episode
Why getting frozen out feels so disorienting — and why your brain treats it like a real threat
How silence gets filled in with the worst version of the story (and how to catch it)
A simple tool — Real or Likely? — to use the moment the spiral starts
Three things to do when you're suddenly on the outside
How to let God, not the group chat, define where you belong
This week, the next time you catch yourself spiraling on what a friend "really meant," stop and run it through Real or Likely, and see what's actually true. You don't have to have it all figured out today — just take the next right step, and let God's peace lead instead of the fear.xo, KristenLove this episode? You finally like someone — or someone likes you — and instead of feeling giddy, you're anxious all the time? Overthinking every text, reading into every silence, bracing for it to fall apart before it's even started? You're not clingy, and you're not "too much." Your anxiety just climbed into the driver's seat of something good. In this episode we talk about why dating anxiety spirals, one tool to stop it mid-scroll, and three truths that let you enjoy liking someone instead of just surviving it.What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why liking someone can make your anxiety louder, not quieter
The spiral that turns a slow text into a worst-case story
The "Real or Likely?" tool to stop overthinking in the moment
Why reassurance-seeking backfires — and what to do instead
How to date without editing yourself down to keep someone interested
This week, your one brave thing: the next time your brain spirals over a text, run it through Real or Likely? before you send anything — then let the silence just be silence. His response time is not a verdict on your worth, doll. That was settled by God a long time ago.xo, Kristen🎧 If this hit home, follow/subscribe so the next episode finds you too.LET'S CONNECT!🎓 Free Ditch Back-to-School Anxiety: anxiouschristianteen.com/back2school💛 Free community: anxiouschristianteen.com/community❓ What Type of Anxious Teen Girl Are You? Ever been overwhelmed by everything at once — the group chat, the test, the friend who went quiet — and had someone tell you to "just have peace about it"? Like peace is a switch and you're the only one who never found it?In this episode we sit in Philippians 4:6-7 and talk about the kind of peace that doesn't make sense on paper — the calm that shows up while everything is still messy — plus a simple tool to calm the anxiety the second it hits. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why "just calm down" never works when you're overwhelmed
Why feeling anxious doesn't mean your faith is weak
What Philippians 4:6-7 actually says about peace (hint: it's an invitation, not a scolding)
The "Name It and Hand It" tool for the moment the wave hits
Why God's peace is a guard, not a mood you have to force
This week, your one brave thing: the next time everything feels like too much, don't try to fix it all — name it, and hand it over to God, out loud. You're not a weak Christian for feeling overwhelmed. You're a girl learning to hand it over — and that's strength, not failure.xo,Kristen

Have you ever been the girl who looks totally fine on the outside — smiling, showing up, holding it all together — while inside you're panicking and praying nobody notices? My guest this week, Ashanti Watson, lived exactly that. She was the sunshine in every room while quietly having four and five panic attacks a day, carrying a shame she thought she had to hide.In this episode, Ashanti shares the moment everything shifted — a breakdown in her car that became a turning point — and the simple, powerful tools she used to trade fear-based thinking for faith-based thinking. If your brain runs on "what if," this one's going to feel like a breath of fresh air. What You'll Learn in This Episode
Why anxiety can hide behind a smile — and why "just pray about it" leaves so many faith-filled girls feeling ashamed instead of helped
How people-pleasing and "good girl syndrome" quietly get fueled by the fear of rejection
The "what if" → "even if" reframe (straight out of Daniel 3) that settles anxiety in the moment
A simple self-awareness question — "What is good right now?" — to ground yourself when panic rises and you can't even name why
What real faith actually looks like (hint: it's not being happy and positive all the time)
The line worth framing: "Do your best and let God handle the rest."
Take This Into Your WeekThe next time your mind starts spinning out with "what if she doesn't like me" or "what if it all goes wrong," try catching that thought and swapping in "even if." Even if it doesn't work out, God's got another plan. Even if it's hard, you're still going to be okay. You don't have to control the outcome — that part was never yours to carry. Do your best, and let God handle the rest.xo, Kristen🎧 If this episode spoke to you, follow the show so you never miss one, and share it with a friend who needs to hear it.CONNECT WITH ASHANTI WATSON:

Hey doll — last episode I told you that you'll never find your self-esteem on social media, and so many of you wrote back with the same question: "Okay, but I can't delete my whole life. So now what?" This episode is the "now what."I'm not here to tell you to throw your phone in a lake. Social media is a tool — the problem is when you get wrapped up inside it and who you are online starts deciding how you feel all day. So today I'm giving you four practical, faith-based tools to ditch social media anxiety, unwrap your identity from the feed, and feel confident in your own skin again. Because you're not your feed. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why social media anxiety hits teen girls especially hard — and why that's development, not weakness
The "Posting Pause" — one question to ask before you post so you're not fishing for proof you're okay
How to pair it with the "Scroll Check" for going in and coming out of the feed
Three ways to unwrap your identity from social media: guardrails, curating your feed, and anchoring who you are off the screen
Where real, unshakeable confidence comes from — and why no algorithm gets a vote
This week, pick just one small step: set one guardrail, or unfollow one account that steals your peace. Just one — that's how this starts. You don't have to quit social media to feel peaceful in your own skin; you just have to stop letting it be the mirror.xo, Kristen🎧 Loving the podcast? Hey doll — be honest with yourself for a sec. How many times today did you open an app, start scrolling, and somehow end up feeling smaller? Like everybody else has it figured out and you're the only one who doesn't? If you've been quietly using social media to feel better about yourself, I have to tell you gently: you're never going to find your self-esteem there. It's not there. It never was. But that's actually good news. In this episode I'm walking you through three real reasons scrolling fuels your anxiety and steals your self-esteem — and where that steady, God-given confidence actually comes from. Because your worth was settled long before your first post. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why social media can never give you the self-esteem you're aching for
The "Scroll Check" — one question that breaks the comparison spiral in the moment
How chasing likes and followers quietly fuels anxiety instead of easing it
Why thousands of followers can still leave you feeling like the loneliest girl at school
Where your real, unshakeable worth comes from — and why no algorithm gets a vote
This week, do the Scroll Check: every time your phone leaves you feeling smaller, ask, "Real life, or highlight reel?" and let that put your feet back on solid ground. And come back Friday — we're talking about how to manage the anxiety social media stirs up and how to unwrap your identity from it.xo,Kristen🎧 Loving the podcast? Here's the thing about social anxiety — it doesn't stay in the hallway at school. You know that feeling, right? Like everyone's eyes are on you, and your brain's already running through every way you could mess this up? That feeling doesn't clock out when the bell rings. It follows you home. It follows you straight into your closest friendships — the ones that actually matter — and has you replaying a text for the hundredth time, wondering if she's mad at you.And here's what's so sneaky about it: social anxiety doesn't just make you doubt yourself. It makes you doubt the people who are actually safe — the ones who really do have your back. So today, I'm giving you 3 clear signs — no guessing, no overthinking — that tell you exactly who you can actually trust. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why social anxiety doesn't just make you doubt yourself — it makes you doubt the people who are actually safe
The real reason your mind won't stop replaying that text (and how to bring yourself back to the present)
A simple pros-and-cons tool to check anxious thoughts against what you actually know to be true
The 3 signs that tell you exactly who you can trust — Active Support, Honesty, and Mutual Respect
Why trusting your gut again is the first step back to real peace
Here's what I want you to do this week: think of one friend, just one, and run her through these three signs. Not to go looking for reasons to cut her off — but to actually see her clearly, instead of through the fog of lies your anxiety's been telling you. And girl, that clarity? That's where your peace starts to come back.xo, Kristen🎧 Be sure to follow or subscribe so you don't miss anything!LET'S CONNECT!

Hey doll! I spent last week as a fully unhinged VBS volunteer — and the Ireland theme (sheep, highland cows, Psalm 23) would not let me go. Because I kept thinking about you. Here's something nobody tells teen girls enough: God is not trying to get you around your anxiety. He's not promising to remove the hard stuff before you walk through it. Psalm 23 is actually really clear about this — and once you see it, you can't unsee it.
In this episode:
Why David wrote Psalm 23 in the middle of danger — and why that changes everything
How the enemy really shows up (hint: not with a pitchfork)
Why Psalm 23 is a battle plan, not a calm-down script
What "He leads" actually requires of you

Self-doubt is lying to you. And today, I'm going to show you exactly how it does it.You said something in the group chat, walked into a room where everyone seemed to have it together, or typed a text four times before deleting it — and that voice kicked in. Something is wrong with me. I'm so embarrassing. I don't belong here. That voice feels like truth. It sounds like you. But baby sis, it is not.In this episode, we're talking about where self-doubt really comes from, why it's so hard to catch, and one simple question you can ask when the spiral starts. What You'll Learn in This Episode:
Why self-doubt is a lie — not a personality trait or a diagnosis
How Satan uses your own voice to make the lie feel believable
The pattern that shows up every single time (hint: it's always right before the brave thing)
What Romans 8:1 says about the voice that tears you down
One practical question to ask yourself when the self-doubt spiral starts
You are not broken. You are not too sensitive. You are a girl with an enemy who knows your weak spots — and a God who already told you the truth about who you are.xo,Kristen
